For a damaged area of the body to fully regenerate and heal, it must have the critical healing elements that only the blood can provide: vitamins, minerals, and oxygen. The reason some injuries never fully heal is because there is a lack of circulation of blood, and the healing elements simply cannot be delivered to the site of injury.
